Historical Weather Information from NOAA
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) publishes monthly rainfall totals along with the amounts above or below normal, based on the 30 year period 1981-2010. This information helps us understand and manage our water resources.
Here is the link to the current rainfall summaries from the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office out of Houston / Galveston Texas. You are also invited to visit the excellent NOAA website to learn more about the water cycle and “building a sustainable water future” for us all.
A History of Droughts in Texas
